Job summary

Prosperitas Personnel is seeking a skilled engineer to design and develop data centre and critical infrastructure solutions in a client-focused environment. You will collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into technically robust designs.

The role involves estimating budgets, supporting business development, and overseeing implementation, testing, and handover to ensure high performance and reliability of systems.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• PrEng/PrTech accreditation is advantageous.
• Experience in data centre design, power systems, cooling, BMS/SCADA/PLC.

The role combines technical expertise, solution design, stakeholder engagement, and business development to deliver commercially viable, high-performance solutions.

Requirements

• BSc/BEng in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• PrEng / PrTech - beneficial
• Relevant experience within data centre, critical infrastructure, or engineering environments.
• Experience in data centre design, power systems, cooling, BMS, SCADA, or PLC systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, ICT, and backup power infrastructure.
• Exposure to renewable energy and energy storage systems.
• Strong client-facing, commercial, and project management skills.
