Role Purpose

Gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources, extract insights in a clear, precise, and actionable manner, and present data in an understandable way for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements
  • 3-year Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Management, Mathematics, or Statistics.
  • National Diploma in IT.
  • Applicable technology certifications.
  • MS PowerBI PL-300 (Advantageous).
  • 3-5 years' experience as a data analyst or related field.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, PowerBI, SSRS).
  • Business acumen.
  • Data and statistical modeling.
  • Financial modeling.
  • Database and/or data product design.
  • Data mining and warehousing techniques.
  • BI applications relevant to the business area.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Gather information from various sources, analyze results, and interpret patterns and trends.
  • Report findings in an accessible and accurate manner to support operational, tactical, and strategic decisions.
  • Create detailed specifications for data sources, flows, transformations, storage, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Promote the use of enterprise and divisional data standards to improve data quality and ensure compliance with data governance.
  • Design scalable, reliable, and maintainable data solutions.
  • Process live and confidential data according to guidelines.
  • Evaluate system changes impacting reporting and business decisions.
  • Develop professional reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
