Placements24 is seeking a proactive Cyber Security Specialist to strengthen security defenses from Centurion and beyond. You will identify vulnerabilities, develop remediation strategies, and respond to incidents, translating complex concepts for diverse stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in cybersecurity, a solid grasp of threat landscapes, and hands-on experience with firewalls, SIEM, and incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in cybersecurity roles.
• Expertise in vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and incident response.
• Proficiency with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and SIEMs.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
• Monitor network traffic and systems for security breaches or suspicious activities.
• Lead the response to cyber security incidents, including investigation and mitigation.
