Job summary

BCE Foods in Johannesburg is seeking a Customer Service Agent to support customers and manage orders from entry to completion. You will handle inquiries, feedback, and backorder statuses, delivering professional service and timely resolutions.

The role requires strong English communication, data accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure. Previous call centre or customer service experience is advantageous, and SAP/MS Office skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Grade 12/Matric equivalent.
• Sales qualification is a distinct advantage.
• Experience in customer service and/or call centre is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong command of the English language.
• Data capture accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process all customer transactions accurately and timeously; manage orders from entry to finalisation.
• Handle customer feedback on order statuses, backorders and general inquiries per policies.
• Develop positive relationships with customers and provide professional service and support.
• Collaborate with internal colleagues and relevant business departments.
• Show initiative and proactively resolve customer queries.
• Promote total customer satisfaction through prompt query resolution.
