You will follow recipes, maintain high presentation standards, and manage dietary restrictions while ensuring safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced galley environment. Ideal candidates have a culinary degree, 2+ years as a 2nd Cook in high-volume kitchens, strong teamwork, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a 2nd Cook in a high-volume kitchen.
• Culinary degree or equivalent training from a recognized institution.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus for all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
• Follow recipes and ensure dishes are prepared and presented to high standards.
• Prepare and cook meals for guests with special dietary requirements or restrictions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area with proper storage and labeling of food items.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene standards to ensure health and safety of guests and crew.
