Houston Skilled Consultancy seeks passionate Cruise Line Chefs for luxury cruise ships traveling across European routes. You will join an international culinary team, preparing diverse global cuisines and delivering top-quality dining at sea.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in high-end kitchens, shipboard experience preferred, and the ability to work long, demanding shifts onboard a six-month to nine-month contract. Competitive, tax-free USD compensation is provided.

Formación

• Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or related field.
• Excellent knife skills and mastery in preparation, cooking, and presentation of various cuisines.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Knowledge of international kitchen operations and cruise food standards.
• Team-oriented attitude with flexibility to work across different kitchen stations.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure in a high-volume setting.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook meals per menu plans across Continental, Indian, Asian, Italian, and Mediterranean cuisines.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene, food safety protocols, and cleanliness per cruise line standards.
• Collaborate with Sous and Executive Chefs to plan daily meal prep and presentation.
• Ensure timely food preparation during breakfast, lunch, and dinner for passengers and crew.
• Monitor stock levels and report food supply needs to inventory staff.
• Train and guide junior kitchen staff and stewards when required.
• Adapt recipes and menu items to guest preferences and dietary requirements.
• Maintain temperature logs, food safety records, and kitchen equipment.
