Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, Public Relations, Media Studies, Creative Writing, or a related field.
• Postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Brand Management or Copywriting (advantageous).
• Certification in Content Marketing, Digital Marketing, SEO, or Social Media Marketing (advantageous).
• 3-5 years' experience in copywriting, content creation, communications, advertising, marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience writing across multiple platforms: advertising campaigns, social media content, websites/blogs, internal communications, reports/presentations, email marketing.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong writing, editing and storytelling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement language guidelines for the communication functions.
• Liaise with stakeholders to understand language and editing requirements.
• Provide editing and language services for communication within agreed timelines.
• Ensure Plain Language standards are maintained by reviewing communications for key stakeholders.
• Develop and create awareness of frameworks for writing when required.
• Create internal communications for publications and electronic communications, and initiatives for promoting business and project writing.
