Job summary

Pollock and Associates in Pretoria is seeking a disciplined Quantity Surveyor to take full cost ownership of project finances. You will measure and price from drawings, value subcontractor work and monitor site progress to protect budget integrity.

With 3–5 years of QS experience and a BSc or BTech in Quantity Surveying, you will report the monthly cost position, approve orders against budget and provide reliable data to guide site teams toward delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• BSc or BTech in Quantity Surveying required.
• Three to five years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor required.
• Ability to measure and price from drawings at current market rates.
• Experience with subcontractor valuations and progress valuations for funding draws.
• Strong budget monitoring, forecasting and cost reporting required.
