• Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying
• 2-3 years’ relevant experience within the construction industry
• Experience with quantity take-offs, measurements and Bills of Quantities
• Experience in estimating, tendering and evaluating quotations
• Knowledge of cost control, budgeting and project financial management
• Experience with variations, claims, valuations and final accounts
• Knowledge of construction contracts such as JBCC/GCC will be advantageous
• Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Valid driver’s licence

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
• Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities
• Obtain, compare and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Monitor project costs against approved budgets
• Prepare and maintain project cost reports and forecasts
• Manage variations, claims, interim valuations and payment certificates
• Assist with contract administration and commercial negotiations
• Monitor supplier and subcontractor costs and performance
• Identify and report potential cost overruns and financial risks
• Prepare and finalise project final accounts
• Work closely with project managers, contractors, suppliers and clients to ensure effective cost management
