Job summary

Network Finance in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town seeks a Cost Accountant to drive profitability by ensuring accurate costing, inventory control and robust financial reporting. You will partner with operations, production and finance to influence operational decisions.

The role requires a detail-oriented professional with 2+ years in cost accounting and manufacturing exposure to support budgeting, forecasting and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years' cost accountant experience.
• Manufacturing experience would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate product costings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Analyse manufacturing costs, variances, and production efficiencies.
• Monitor inventory valuation and stock reconciliation processes.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Analyse margins, profitability, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Support monthly management reporting and financial reviews.
