Role: Cost Accountant

Location: Western Cape, Franschoek

Salary: TBD

What you’ll do:

• Manage product costing and tooling inventory reporting, ensuring accuracy and analysing variances.
• Prepare cost estimates and quotes for new products, customers, and product changes.
• Update Bills of Materials (BOMs) as required.
• Assist with stock counts, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate costing records.
• Load cost estimates/quotes into relevant systems and manage inventory and product records.
• Provide reliable audit information when needed.

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in cost and management accounting, including analysis and reporting.
• BCom degree or equivalent preferred; progress towards a CIMA qualification advantageous.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and BOM. Experience with business intelligence software is a plus.
• FMCG or production environment experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills in both Afrikaans and English.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work with precision under pressure.
