Placements24 is seeking a proficient Conveyancer to lead the property law division for our Richards Bay client. You will manage all property transfers, bond registrations, and cancellations, while advising clients and maintaining strong relationships with banks and agents.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in conveyancing, is admitted to the High Court, and is proficient with GhostConvey. A hybrid work model and opportunities for career progression are offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified as a Conveyancer and admitted to the High Court.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in conveyancing and property law.
• Thorough understanding of the Deeds Registries Act and related property legislation.
• Experience with GhostConvey or similar conveyancing software.
• Excellent client liaison and communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Handle the entire process of property transfers, including drafting sale agreements, preparing transfer documents, and lodging them at the Deeds Office.
• Manage the registration of mortgage bonds and cancellations, liaising with various banks and financial institutions.
• Provide expert advice to clients on all aspects of property law, including sectional title schemes and developments.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and professional standards.
• Conduct due diligence and PBO investigations as required.
• Maintain accurate client records and manage billing for conveyancing services.
