Job summary

iqbusiness is seeking experienced Process Engineers for contract opportunities. The role is suited to hands‑on process engineering specialists who can discover, model, design, and optimise end-to-end workflows—moving from current‑state understanding to future‑state process design with measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities include driving end-to-end process engineering across value chains, modelling with BPMN, facilitating workshops, and delivering implementation‑ready artefacts for effective

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in business process engineering/design/optimisation within financial services.
• Expertise in modelling, designing and improving business processes with validation.
• Proven ability to deliver from as‑is to to‑be designs with measurable criteria.
• Hands‑on toolkit: value stream mapping, bottleneck analysis and continual improvement.
• Facilitation, workshop leadership, and business writing for regulated environments.
• Knowledge of how processes are supported by systems and information flows for automation handover.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, RUP delivery methods; ARIS/JIRA/Confluence advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end process engineering across value chains, including discovery and architecture mapping.
• Produce as‑is and to‑be process models using BPMN and best practices; ensure reuse.
• Facilitate workshops and interviews to elicite tacit knowledge and validate models.
• Analyze workflow performance using metrics and root‑cause methods to identify bottlenecks.
• Apply Lean/value‑stream thinking to improve throughput and reduce waste.
• Design future‑state processes with KPIs, governance, and controls aligned to regulatory constraints.
• Translate designs into artefacts (SOPs, RACI, handover packs, automation handover).
• Collaborate with technology teams to align processes with systems and data flows.
• Support business readiness, training, and post‑implementation refinement.
