Placements24 is seeking a skilled Structural Steel Welder for a prominent construction company in the Nelspruit area. You will perform high-quality welds on structural steel using MMAW, MIG/MAG and TIG processes, interpret blueprints and welding symbols, and ensure compliance with safety standards on-site.

This contract role offers a competitive hourly rate and ongoing project-based engagements with opportunities to work on large-scale infrastructure projects in Mpumalanga.

Qualifications

• Certified Welder with experience in structural steel fabrication and erection.
• Proficiency in MMAW, MIG/MAG, and TIG welding processes.
• Ability to read structural blueprints and welding symbols.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations on structural steel components using MMAW, MIG/MAG, and TIG processes.
• Read and interpret structural drawings and welding specifications.
• Ensure welds meet quality, strength, and code requirements.
