Job summary

Fidelity Security Group (Pty) Ltd in Nelspruit is seeking a Contract Manager - Mining to oversee site security operations and ensure client needs are met.

The role requires Psira Grade A, matric, 5+ years as a manager, and strong staff supervision and HR handling. You will liaise with the Branch Manager, maintain incident reporting, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or matric or equivalent.
• PSIRA Grade A registration and accreditation.
• No Criminal Record.
• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum 5 years in a managerial role.
• Residence in Nelspruit.

Responsibilities

• Maintain good relations between Fidelity Security Services and the client regarding security services.
• Ensure posting of Security Officers is done timeously.
• Ensure officers meet contractual requirements as per client.
• Evaluate service levels and recommend improvements to the client.
• General management and supervision of security staff.
• Prompt handling of HR-related queries.
• Investigate incidents and submit weekly/monthly incident reports to Management.
• Attend meetings with FSS Management and with the Client.

CONTRACT MANAGER - MINING

The above position is vacant in Nelspruit, reporting to the Branch Manager.

The overall purpose of this position is to ensure that all site specific security requirements are adhered to and that the Client’s needs are efficiently and professionally met at all times.

• Grade 12 (matric) Certificate of equivalent
• Psira Grade A registered and accredited
• No Criminal Record
• Valid driver's license
• Minimum 5 years as a Manager
• Staff Management experience essential
• Computer Literacy
• Must live in Nelspruit

Key Performance Areas: (not totally inclusive):

• Maintaining good relations between Fidelity Security Services and the client with regard to security services rendered.
• Ensuring the posting of Security Officers are done timeously.
• Ensuring that all Security Officers meet the contractual requirements as stipulated by the client.
• Constantly evaluating the service levels provided and making recommendations to the client regarding the improvement of services.
• General management and supervision of security staff.
• Ensuring that all HR related queries are dealt with promptly.
• Investigating incidents and submitting relevant weekly/monthly incident reports to Management.
• Attend meetings with FSS Management and with the Client.
