Elchemie Recruitment is seeking a Contract Manager – Security to oversee a key client in the automation and manufacturing sector from the Rosslyn/Tshwane area. The role focuses on contract performance, on-site leadership, and ensuring compliance with PSiRA, labour, and health & safety requirements.

You will manage security operations, liaise with the client, review SLAs, and drive profitability while maintaining high service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• NQF Level 6 qualification (equivalent to a three-year National Diploma).
• Grade 12 / Matric pass.
• 2–5 years’ proven experience in Security contract management.
• Knowledge of South African labour law, PSiRA regulations, and OHS legislation.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
• Clear criminal record.
• Proactive, organized, and solutions-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee full security contract performance.
• Act as primary liaison with the client; conduct regular performance and SLA review meetings.
• Lead and manage security teams, ensuring discipline and operational excellence.
• Monitor and manage profitability, budgets, wage costs, and asset registers.
• Ensure PSiRA, OHS, and health & safety compliance, including incident reporting.
• Conduct staff performance reviews, manage rosters, leave, and absenteeism.
• Resolve client issues quickly and implement service improvements.
• Support business growth through client retention and upselling opportunities.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Contract Manager to join our client’s Security team, managing a key client in the automation and manufacturing sector. If you have proven experience in contract management within the security industry, NQF level 6 Qualification, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are passionate about compliance and service excellence, this role is for you. You’ll oversee full contract performance, lead security operations on site, manage client relationships, and ensure compliance with all PSiRA, labour, and health & safety requirements.
