Job summary

Elchemie in Pretoria, SA, seeks an experienced Security Contract Manager to oversee performance and delivery of a key security contract. You will be the primary client liaison, lead security personnel, monitor budgets and assets, and drive continuous improvement in service standards and client satisfaction.

Requirements: a 3-year Diploma (NQF Level 6), Grade 12, Grade A PSIRA certification, and at least 4 years of contract management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall performance and delivery of the security contract

• Maintain asset registers and ensure assets are controlled
• Ensure compliance with PSIRA, labour, OHS and health & safety standards
• Investigate, report and follow up incidents, implement corrective measures
• Identify operational risks and drive continuous service improvement
• Support client retention and explore opportunities for additional business

Job description

What youll be doing

Manage the overall performance and delivery of the security contract. Act as the primary point of contact for the client and maintain a strong, professional working relationship. Conduct regular client performance, operational and SLA review meetings. Lead, manage and motivate security personnel to ensure high standards of discipline, performance and service delivery. Manage staff performance, attendance, absenteeism, leave, rosters and general workforce requirements. Monitor contract profitability, budgets, wage costs and operational expenses. Maintain and manage asset registers and ensure company assets are properly controlled. Ensure full compliance with PSiRA requirements, labour legislation, OHS and health & safety standards . Ensure incidents are properly investigated, reported and followed up. Identify operational risks and implement appropriate corrective and preventative measures. Resolve client queries and operational challenges promptly and professionally. Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and operational standards. Support client retention and identify opportunities for additional business and service growth. Ensure all contractual and operational requirements are consistently met.

What youll need

A 3-year Diploma, registered at NQF Level 6 mandatory. Grade 12 / Matric mandatory. Grade A PSiRA certification mandatory 48 years proven experience in security contract management. Valid drivers licence and own reliable vehicle essential. South African citizenship Clear criminal record mandatory.
