Qualificações

• Minimum 10 years in construction with at least 5 years in a Superintendent role.

• Deep knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, cost control, and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret complex architectural and engineering drawings.
• Professional certification (PMP or CEM) is a plus.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Construction Superintendent to manage and oversee complex building projects in Randburg . This leadership position demands a strong ability to coordinate all on-site activities, manage multiple subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will be the primary point of contact for site operations, working closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to achieve project goals in the dynamic Gauteng construction landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily construction activities on assigned projects, ensuring strict adherence to plans, specifications, and building codes.
• Manage and direct the work of subcontractors, foremen, and craft labor to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
• Implement and enforce rigorous health and safety protocols on all project sites, conducting regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Monitor project progress against the master schedule, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Control project costs by managing materials, equipment, and labor effectively, and approving progress payments.
• Ensure exceptional quality of work is maintained throughout all phases of construction.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years in a Superintendent or similar senior site management role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale commercial and/or residential construction projects .
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, cost control, and safety regulations.
