Job summary

Placements24 seeks a diligent Construction Safety Officer to ensure a safe working environment on projects in and around Nelspruit. You will develop, implement, and monitor safety programs to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.

Responsibilities include site-specific safety plans, inspections, accident investigations, trainings, and maintaining records. Requires NEBOSH/SAMTRAC and 3+ years in construction safety.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH or SAMTRAC qualification required.
• Minimum 3 years as Safety Officer in construction.
• Strong knowledge of OHS Act and related legislation.

You will play a vital role in promoting a strong safety culture and protecting the well-being of all individuals on the construction site.
