Qualifications

• Prev experience in recruitment, especially as a Resourcer or Junior Recruiter.
• Strong interest in construction and engineering industries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to quickly build rapport with diverse backgrounds.
• Proficient with online job boards, social media and database search functions.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive and driven with a willingness to learn.
• Able to work independently and in a team in Mossel Bay.
• Familiarity with the Western Cape job market is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates for construction-related roles (site managers, engineers, tradespeople, project managers).
• Conduct initial screening calls to assess suitability, experience, and availability.
• Build and maintain a database of qualified candidates in construction.
• Collaborate with recruitment consultants to understand job requirements and candidate profiles.
• Maintain candidate records accurately in the database.
• Engage with candidates to promote opportunities and build pipelines.
• Assist with recruitment administrative tasks as needed.
• Stay informed about trends in construction in the Western Cape.
• Ensure positive and professional interactions with candidates.
