Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Project Manager specialized in construction to lead Richards Bay-based projects in KwaZulu-Natal. You will oversee planning, budgeting, execution and handover, ensuring safety, quality and schedule adherence.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, 7+ years in construction PM, and proficiency with PM software such as MS Project or Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related field.
• 7+ years of experience in construction project management.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and building codes.
• Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6).

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of construction projects from planning to closeout.
• Develop detailed schedules, cost estimates, and budgets and monitor performance.
• Coordinate on-site activities ensuring safety, codes and quality standards.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers and regulators.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays and cost overruns.
• Conduct site inspections and progress meetings and report to stakeholders.
