Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to support project management teams in Vereeniging. You will assist with project documentation, schedules, and communications to keep projects on track and moving forward.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a Project Coordinator or similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with project management software is an asset.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers in planning, organizing, and executing construction projects.
• Maintain and organize project documentation, including drawings, permits, and reports.
• Coordinate project activities and communicate with project team members, subcontractors, and clients.
• Track project progress and assist in identifying and resolving potential delays or issues.
• Schedule project meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
• Manage project administrative tasks, such as RFI processing and submittal tracking.
