Placements24 is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager in Vereeniging to oversee a portfolio of diverse projects. You will plan, execute and close projects, coordinating with clients, contractors and engineers to deliver safely, on time and within budget.

The role blends site presence with strategic planning in a hybrid work structure, requiring strong leadership, excellent organization, and a proven track record in large-scale construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in construction project management with large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, codes, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, budgets, timelines, and resources.
• Oversee all lifecycle phases from planning to closeout.
• Coordinate on-site activities with safety and quality adherence.
• Manage relationships with clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Approve expenses, manage change orders, and ensure financial objectives.
