Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to support the construction management team in Centurion. You will provide administrative and logistical support, liaising with project managers, site supervisors, and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate provides strong organizational skills, a foundational understanding of construction, and a proactive approach to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

This role offers exposure to diverse infrastructure projects in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Project Coordinator or administrative role in construction.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication for stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to read basic construction documents and plans.
• Proactive problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers in planning, scheduling, and executing construction projects.
• Maintain project documentation including contracts, permits, drawings, and progress reports.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare minutes, and track action items for project teams and stakeholders.
• Manage project communications and disseminate information.
• Monitor timelines and budgets; flag deviations or risks to the project manager.
• Procure and manage project supplies, equipment, and services.
