Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Construction Estimator to join our client’s team in Benoni, Gauteng. You will develop comprehensive cost breakdowns for varied construction projects from bid to proposal, applying knowledge of construction methods, materials, labor costs, and subcontractor pricing.

Key responsibilities include reviewing plans, quantifying materials, obtaining quotes, and presenting cost findings to management while cultivating relationships with clients and suppliers to stay

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating construction projects.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office tools.

About the Role

You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for a wide range of construction projects, from initial bid stages through to final proposals. This role requires a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, labor costs, and subcontractor pricing. Your ability to analyze project plans and specifications to develop comprehensive cost breakdowns is crucial for securing new business and ensuring profitability for projects in Gauteng and surrounding areas.
