Job summary

Vineyard Hotel Newlands in Cape Town seeks a Conferencing & Events Bartender to ensure exceptional beverage service during events. You will oversee bar prep, stock, and smooth operation while delivering a personalized guest experience.

Requirements include matric and at least 1 year of banqueting/bartender experience, with a focus on hygiene, safety and guest satisfaction in a hotel setting. This is an hourly paid, permanent position based in Newlands.

Qualifications

• Matric (National Senior Certificate NQF 4) required.
• At least 1 year banqueting and bartender experience.
• Satisfactory criminal record, subject to assessment of offence nature, severity, relevance and recency.

Responsibilities

The Conferencing & Events (Banqueting) Bartender ensures exceptional beverage service by upholding established standards. They oversee bar preparation, stocking, and efficient operation during service while delivering a personalized and memorable experience for every guest.

Key Accountabilities

Minimum Requirements
