The Vineyard Hotel is seeking a Bartender to ensure top-notch beverage service, maintain bar operations, and deliver personalised guest experiences. You should have at least 1 year of bartender experience in an upmarket setting and a passion for mixology. A cocktail course will set you apart.

Bartender (Monthly Paid)

As our Bartender, you will ensure that beverage service standards are met and that bars are prepared, stocked, and run efficiently during service, while monitoring and maintaining the guest experience by ensuring that every one of our guests receives personalised attention and experiences.

You’ll respond promptly to guest feedback and tailor bar experiences to meet individual preferences, manage the smooth flow of service while upholding hygiene and safety standards and ensure all operational tasks are executed efficiently and effectively.

In addition, you will ensure all bar equipment and glassware are kept in good order, and that daily and monthly stock takes are completed, as well as the setup of the bar equipment & stations to specification as per SOP.

Along with your Matric Certificate (National Senior Certificate NQF 4) ; you have a minimum of 1 year bartender experience in an upmarket bar. You have a clean credit check as well as a satisfactory criminal record ; subject to assessment of the nature, severity, relevance, and recency of any offence.

A cocktail/bartender course and Mixology experience will set you apart from the rest.

You will bring your mixology expertise, beverage knowledge, and sales skills to create memorable guest experiences. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with your client-focused approach and dedication to quality, will ensure first-rate service in every interaction.

With your ability to perform under pressure, collaborate effectively, and plan with initiative, you will consistently deliver outstanding results in a service-oriented environment. Your professionalism and passion for the craft will be key to raising our standards and delighting our clientele.
