Composite Laminator (Manufacturing)

Location: Centurion

Position Overview

• The incumbent would be expected to manufacture Composite moulds and composite parts for the aviation industry to the required specification.
• The incumbent would be expected to manufacture composite parts from moulds using epoxy resins and wet layup techniques for the aerospace industry.
• The incumbent would work in small teams under the leadership of a workshop manager.

Required Experience

• Experience in the aerospace composite manufacturing industry working with epoxy resins.
• The incumbent must be skilled in the use of hand tools.

Capabilities

• The incumbent should be able to read and understand drawings.
• The incumbent must be able to accurately follow product manufacturing specifications and work instructions.

Educational Requirements

• Grade 12.
• A minimum of 1-year relevant experience in the manufacturing environment.
• Formal training in basic machining principles.

• Ability to read measuring equipment.
