Job summary

The Fiduciary Recruitment Group in Claremont, South Africa is seeking a Compliance Associate to support the compliance function, ensuring regulatory activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with applicable legislation and requirements. The role is based in Claremont with hybrid flexibility after probation.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of administrative experience in a FAIS and FICA compliance environment.
• A relevant degree or tertiary qualification in risk, law or compliance; RE5 is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint; SharePoint experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation, reliability, initiative and sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and update compliance policies, procedures, risk assessments and templates.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and registers for audits, inspections and internal reviews.
• Assist with audit reporting, compliance projects and remediation of identified gaps.
• Capture and review commission lodgements on Company and Xplan, liaising with the fees department.
