Job summary

Hewitt Colenbrander Recruitment seeks a Compliance Officer to oversee FAIS & FSP compliance (Category II – Private Equity) and to act as MLCO. The role includes ensuring ongoing FAIS compliance, governance, RMCP maintenance, CIPC filings, and company secretary support across group entities.

Responsibilities cover compliance programs, manuals, policies, and fit & proper determinations, with attention to FSCA directives and risk governance. Strong English and presentation skills desired.

Qualifications

• Experience with FAIS Act and subordinate legislation, including Category I & II private equity.
• Ability to act as appointed Compliance Officer and MLCO for Category II FSP.
• Knowledge of FSCA directives, conduct standards and guidance notes.
