Placements24 is seeking a diligent Compliance Officer for a fully remote role based in South Africa. The successful candidate will monitor regulatory changes, implement compliance programs, and conduct investigations within the Banking & Finance sector.

The ideal candidate has a law, finance or related degree and at least four years of compliance experience, with strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills to support management and regulatory interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field as specified.
• Minimum 4 years in compliance or regulatory affairs within financial services.
• Strong knowledge of SA financial regulations (FICA, POPIA, AML/CFT).
• Experience developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.

About the Role

Our client, a reputable firm within the Banking & Finance sector, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join their team. This position, based in Midrand, Gauteng , is crucial for ensuring the organization adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. The Compliance Officer will be responsible for monitoring regulatory changes, implementing compliance programs, and conducting investigations.
