Job summary

Indian Ocean Export Company in Durban is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance/Labeling Administrator to support the IOEC team. You will respond to internal tickets, obtain manufacturing declarations, and review ingredients against market restrictions.

You will create and update product labels using Bartender, upload labels to Gateway, and ensure documents are organized in the compliance inventory. Strong data accuracy and knowledge of food regulations across export markets are essential.

Qualifications

• Matric is required and tertiary education is preferred.
• Strong computer literacy with Excel, Adobe, Word and Teams experience.
• Experience in administering FMCG products and compliance or QC is ideal.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Knowledge of food regulations for export markets and ability to interpret requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to internal tickets from IOEC for Compliance and/or Labelling support.
• Obtain manufacturing declarations from suppliers and/or create them using templates.
• Conduct ingredient reviews for markets to determine restrictions or risks.
• Request documents like Product Data Sheets and MSDS for compliance tasks.
• File documents accurately in compliance inventory folders.
• Create and update product labels using Bartender per regulations or requests.
• Upload and maintain labels on Gateway.
• Review and approve labels on Gateway contracts ahead of printing.
• Oversee label schedule and monitor pending tasks for Compliance.
