The role focuses on designing, implementing, and administering competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract, retain, and motivate the workforce.

You will analyze market data, develop salary structures, administer benefits, and ensure regulatory compliance while partnering with HR and Finance on total rewards initiatives.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, HR or related quantitative field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in compensation and benefits analysis or administration.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to interpret data.

About the Role

Our client, a distinguished financial services firm operating from Centurion, Gauteng , is actively seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Compensation and Benefits Analyst. This critical role will focus on the design, implementation, and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate the company's valuable workforce. The analyst will be responsible for conducting market research, analyzing compensation trends, and ensuring the equity and competitiveness of all pay and benefit structures. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance or HR professional with a strong quantitative aptitude to make a significant impact on the company's total rewards strategy and employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze compensation survey data to benchmark salaries and ensure market competitiveness.
• Develop and maintain salary structures, job grading systems, and incentive plans.

• Conduct cost analyses for proposed compensation and benefits changes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations pertaining to compensation and benefits in Gauteng .
• Prepare reports and presentations on compensation and benefits trends for senior management.
• Support the annual salary review and bonus process.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance departments on various projects related to total rewards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Human Resources, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in compensation and benefits analysis or administration.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level) and HRIS systems.
• Knowledge of compensation principles, benefit plan design, and relevant legislation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with survey providers such as Mercer or Aon is a plus.
