Responsibilities

• Take a report from the previous shift.
• Assist patients with meals, drinks and snacks when necessary.
• Feed patients if needed.
• Record and report information to the Registered Nurse on duty.
• Assist patients with fluids.
• Assist patients in the dining room.
• Put bibs on for those who need it.
• Help dish up and cut food for patients who are too weak.
• Do rounds by your patients.
• Provide general support as part of a caring team.
• Encourage dietary and fluid intake.
