Job summary

Responsibilities

• Take a report from the previous shift
• Assist patients in preparation for meals, drinks, and snacks when necessary.
• Feed patients if needed.
• Record and report all relevant information to the Registered Nurse on duty.
• Assist patients with fluids
• Assist patients in the dining room.
• Put bibs on for those who need it.
• Help dish up and cut food for patients who are too weak.
• Do rounds by your patients
• Assist residents with their daily tasks that they cannot manage and provide general support as part of a caring team.
• Assist and encourage dietary & fluid intake.
