Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a compassionate Community Caregiver to provide home-based care in Klerksdorp. You will support clients with daily living activities, monitor well-being, and offer companionship to improve quality of life in their own homes.

Ideal candidates have a certification in Home Based Care or related field, caregiver experience, and a patient, respectful approach. You will travel to client homes in the North West region and work within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Certification in Home Based Care or related field.
• Experience in home-based caregiving preferred.
• Understanding of confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and daily living activities.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Remind and monitor medications and basic health checks.
• Perform light housekeeping to keep a safe home.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities.
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands in Klerksdorp.
