About the Role

Our client is looking for a compassionate and reliable Caregiver for the Elderly to provide essential support to seniors in their homes within the Klerksdorp area. Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring adequate hydration.
• Administer prescribed medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and tidying of the client's living space.
• Offer companionship, engage in conversation, and accompany clients on outings or appointments.
• Monitor the client's health status and report any changes or concerns to the family or healthcare provider.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a caregiver, preferably with elderly clients.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for elder care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and care plans accurately.
• Reliable transportation for home visits within Klerksdorp and surrounding areas.
