Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support individuals in their homes within the Bloemfontein community. The role focuses on daily living activities, safety, and overall well‑being, with hands-on, field-based service in clients’ homes.

You will provide companionship, assist with personal care, meals, and light housekeeping, while following care plans and reporting changes to the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiver or related healthcare/social support roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
• Ability to follow care plans and report changes promptly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal preparation and adherence to dietary needs.
• Provide light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean home.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client health.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in activities for wellbeing.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and community activities.
