Placements24 seeks a compassionate Family Law Attorney to join its Paarl team in the Western Cape. You will represent clients in divorce, child custody and maintenance matters with sensitivity and professionalism.

The ideal candidate is admitted as an Attorney with at least four years' focused family law experience, strong negotiation skills, and excellent communication. You will advise clients, handle court appearances in Western Cape courts, and seek favourable outcomes in emotionally charged

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with at least 4 years of focused Family Law experience.
• Strong knowledge of South African family law legislation and court procedures.
• Excellent negotiation and mediation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with empathy and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in divorce proceedings, including asset division and spousal support matters.
• Handle child custody, access, and maintenance disputes, advocating for the best interests of children.
• Draft and negotiate settlement agreements and consent orders.
• Advise clients on domestic violence interdicts and protection orders.
• Manage all aspects of family law litigation, including appearances in court.
• Provide empathetic and clear legal counsel throughout the client's case.
