Placements24 in Soweto is seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Law Attorney to join our client’s established practice. You will handle divorce, child custody, maintenance, and domestic violence matters with empathetic guidance and robust advocacy.

The role is hybrid with flexible working arrangements and requires admitted attorneys with at least 4 years PQE in Family Law, strong negotiation, mediation and litigation skills, and the ability to manage a busy caseload while prioritising

Qualifications

• Admitted attorney with a minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience in Family Law.
• In-depth knowledge of the Children's Act, Divorce Act, and Maintenance Act.
• Proven experience in handling complex divorce and child law matters.
• Excellent negotiation, mediation, and litigation skills.
• Strong empathy and the ability to handle sensitive client situations with discretion.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.

• Advise clients on all aspects of family law, including divorce, child maintenance, and spousal support.
• Represent clients in court proceedings related to custody, access, and guardianship of children.
• Draft and negotiate settlement agreements, parenting plans, and court orders.
