Placements24 is seeking a kind-hearted Aged Care Support Worker to assist seniors in Port Elizabeth with daily living activities, promoting comfort, safety, and independence. You will join a team dedicated to high-quality, client-centered care in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in aged care or a related healthcare field is preferred.
• A healthcare support qualification is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding, meeting dietary needs.
• Administer or remind clients to take prescribed medications.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties such as tidying rooms and laundry.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to prevent isolation.
• Monitor health and well-being, reporting changes to supervisors promptly.
