Placements24 is seeking a Youth Sports Director in Vereeniging to develop and oversee youth sports programs. You will manage leagues, recruit coaches, and implement safe, engaging curricula to promote teamwork and healthy lifestyles among youth.

The role requires leadership, organizational skills, and CPR/First Aid certification, with collaboration with schools and community groups to create positive youth development experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Sports Management, Education, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in youth sports programming or management.
• Strong understanding of child development and coaching principles for various sports.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct a comprehensive range of youth sports leagues and activities.
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteer coaches, ensuring safety standards.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate training curricula and coaching philosophies.
• Manage league schedules, field/court assignments, and equipment inventory.
• Serve as primary point of contact for parents, addressing inquiries and concerns.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and emergency procedures.
