Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Social Work degree or equivalent qualification.
• Registered with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP).
• Minimum of 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in social work.
• Strong knowledge of social welfare legislation and child protection services.
• Excellent interviewing, assessment, counseling, and case management skills.
• Proficient in empathetic communication and active listening.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and maintain professional boundaries.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Aufgaben

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of clients and families.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention and support plans.
• Provide counseling and therapeutic support to clients experiencing various difficulties.
• Facilitate access to community resources, including housing, healthcare, and employment services.
• Advocate for clients' rights and needs within relevant systems.
• Maintain accurate and confidential case records in compliance with ethical standards.
• Collaborate with other service providers, government agencies, and community organizations.
