The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management or related field, plus 4+ years in program development and event management. Certification in First Aid/CPR is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in program development and management within a recreational setting.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Certification in First Aid/CPR is required.
• Knowledge of diverse recreational activities and best practices in program delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and execute a variety of recreational programs, including sports leagues, fitness classes, arts and crafts, and special events.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate program staff and volunteers.
• Manage program budgets, track expenditures, and ensure fiscal responsibility.
• Market and promote recreational programs to the community through various channels.
• Ensure all programs and activities adhere to safety standards and risk management protocols.
• Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve program offerings.
