Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Community Program Manager to lead design, implementation, and oversight of community programs in Randburg. You will manage lifecycles, engage diverse stakeholders, monitor progress, and drive social outcomes with strong leadership and organizational skills.

The ideal candidate has a Master's degree and at least 5 years of program management experience in non-profit settings, with budgeting and MS Office proficiency. Randburg/Johannesburg experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Community Development, Public Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, preferably in non-profit/community development.
• Proven track record in managing complex projects from conception to completion.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office Suite.
• Experience in Randburg or greater Johannesburg advantageous.
• Strong understanding of social issues and development principles.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, development, and execution of community-focused programs.
• Manage program budgets, resources, and timelines.
• Build and maintain relationships with community members, organizations, government entities, and stakeholders in Randburg.
• Oversee program staff and volunteers; provide guidance and performance management.
