Placements24 is seeking a Community Outreach Coordinator to build relationships with communities, stakeholders, and beneficiaries in Midrand, Gauteng. You will develop and execute outreach strategies to raise awareness and engagement for programs, while coordinating volunteers and events.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in outreach or related fields, with strong communication, organization, and travel readiness. Hybrid work model offered within the Midrand area.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Development, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in community outreach, program management, or a similar role.
• Understanding of community dynamics and development in Gauteng.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, able to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Midrand, Gauteng.
• Passion for social causes and commitment to the mission.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement community outreach plans aligned with goals.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with community leaders and stakeholders in Midrand, Gauteng.
• Organize and manage community events, workshops, and information sessions.
• Create engaging content for outreach materials (flyers, social posts, newsletters).
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for outreach activities.
• Track and report on outreach effectiveness for program improvement.
• Act as liaison between the community and the organization; gather feedback.
• Represent the client at community forums and external meetings.
