Placements24 is seeking a proactive Community Engagement Specialist to foster connections and build relationships within the Mahikeng area, focusing on understanding local needs and promoting initiatives.

You will design and execute engagement strategies that ensure services are accessible and responsive to the North West province’s diverse population, working through a hybrid model with local stakeholders and communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in community engagement, outreach, or program coordination.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse groups and build consensus.
• Strong understanding of community dynamics in the North West region.
• Proficiency in event planning and management, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement community engagement plans and strategies.
