Qualifications

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct health assessments, screenings, and immunizations in community settings.

• Maintain accurate patient records and program data, adhering to confidentiality standards.
• Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of community outreach programs in Polokwane.
• Collaborate with community leaders and stakeholders to build trust and engagement.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Practicing Certificate from the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
• A qualification in Community Health Nursing or Public Health is highly advantageous.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in community health nursing, public health, or a related field.
• Proven experience in health education, patient counselling, and conducting health screenings.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-cultural engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to varying work environments.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records and standard office software.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Polokwane region.
