Placements24 is recruiting for an Event Planning & Community Engagement Officer in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. The role focuses on organizing community events, outreach programs and fundraising activities, while strengthening ties with local stakeholders and the public.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, personable and proactive, with a passion for community development and cultural enrichment within a vibrant non-profit environment.

Competenze

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Min. 3 years experience in event planning, project management and community engagement, preferably in non-profit.
• Strong organizational, planning and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Plan, coordinate and execute community events, workshops, festivals and fundraising activities from conception to completion.
• Develop and implement outreach programs to increase participation and awareness of services.
• Build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, businesses and partner organizations.
