Placements24 is seeking a proactive Community Liaison Officer for our charity client in Randburg. The role centers on building strong relationships with diverse communities, addressing concerns, and facilitating program delivery on-site.

The successful candidate will excel in interpersonal communication, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution, supporting the organization's mission to serve the Randburg area through collaborative community initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in community engagement, public relations, or a similar role.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with diverse community groups.
• Strong understanding of community dynamics and social issues in Randburg.
• Experience in conflict resolution and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in basic administrative tasks and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key liaison between the organization and community members, local leaders, and stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication channels to gather community feedback, concerns, and needs.
• Organize and represent the organization at community meetings, events, and forums.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of community-based programs and initiatives.
• Resolve community-related issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
